The Sorrow

February, 2014
“The Sorrow is a dark crime story that explores the consequences of pain, and losing yourself to it.”

My first ever self-published novel, ‘The Sorrow’, still lurks around the internet and is freely available to download in eBook format.

As this book was written during my time as a student, and I even used a pseudonym as you can see from the surname, it can be a little bit of an eye-gouging experience for me to re-read it today. Nevertheless at the time I was immensely proud of this work, and it remains an integral part of me and the journey that led me here.

The book is available at Smashwords and Lulu as a free download, although if you’d like a physical copy it has a cost which is unavoidable.

Black Glass

March, 2021
“A dark, relentless and violent character portrait of a sadist.”

To Damon Carter, a vicious torturer, little is more arousing than the submission of his victims, and the grand pleasure of seeing them shatter. Or so it had been before his art was stripped away from him, forcing him into exile.

Five years later Damon leads an empty, dull existence. Apathetic, docile, bored; he yearns for the means to escape his self-induced purgatory.

But unbeknown to him, years ago his torture left a mark on someone. A mark that festered into an intimate obsession with Damon’s true self.

When the enigmatic victim of his past hunts him down, a sycophant determined to reawaken the man underneath, Damon must reconcile his darkness if he is to win.

Dancing with Darkness

Update 11 February, 2021
“A grand poetry compilation of every dark thought I ever harboured, written in a way that makes it eloquent and relatable to others.”

I have completed my first full collection of poetry, however I cannot yet confirm publishing plans as various poems in the collection are locked into the ongoing AVBOB 2020 Poetry Competition. I’ll have more to share on the availability of this collection once the competition closes.

You can read all about it here on my website as well as read some poetry on my Instagram account, which may or may not be from the collection.

I cannot wait to share more on this one.

The Wraith in the Woods

Update 02 May 2021: Project on hold
“An unnerving horror that focuses on two sisters dealing with the disappearance of their mother following a traumatic event.”

While you can read all about the basics of this novel here, the project is currently on hold for the foreseeable future.

It hasn’t ever happened to me before that I’ve been completely consumed by a new story whilst already working on one, to the point that I could see no other option but to travel full speed ahead on a new book.

Death’s Edict

In progress 2021-2022
“A supernatural story set in the aftermath of the Great Kantō earthquake of 1923, which descended Japan into chaos and arose the death gods.”

You can read a little about the book, the inspirations behind it, the setting and the synopsis, by clicking here.

I look forward to sharing more about this story on my Instagram page.
